I hope to offer urns that will fit the emotional needs of families in their time of loss. A hand made burial cremation urn is a comforting choice in this mechanized world.

The urns can be used for burial, for use in a niche, for display in the home, or for temporary storage of ashes while waiting for a ceremony.

I've made urns for my own family and we put them in the ground with our own hands. This was a healing act and I hope that my urns can fulfill the same need for others. At first I wasn't sure that I wanted to offer these to the public, but friends who have asked for them have been very appreciative, so I changed my mind.

My stoneware clay urns are hand made by me in my pottery studio near Montpelier, Vermont. All the urns shown here are available now and can be shipped promptly by the US Postal Service. Several shipping options are offered.
